A Killer Routine for Ripped, Six-Pack Abs

Obtaining ripped, six-pack abs requires that you reduce your abdominal fat as much as possible while developing the underlying abdominal muscles.  No matter how hard you work on your abdominal muscles, your efforts will be in vain if you're not reducing your body fat by a reduced-caloric diet, intense cardio, and full-body weight training. Assuming that you have that part under control, the next key element in obtaining your ripped, six-pack ab look is the specific training of the abdominal muscles.
 Routine for Ripped, Six-Pack Abs
The abdominal muscle group is no different from other muscles and can be trained 2-3 times per week with at least one rest day between workouts.  Each workout should include 2-4 abdominal exercises for 2-4 sets per exercise within a repetition range of 8-20. The abdominal muscles recover quickly between sets and, therefore, rest between sets should be less than one minute. For the best muscular development, abdominal exercises such as Hanging Knee Raises, Bicycle Maneuver, Reverse Crunches, and Crunches on the Ball should be the mainstay of your ab training routines.
If you've been training your abs for a while, then try the following killer routine to get the ripped, muscular six-pack ab look.  Perform as a circuit for four circuits with minimal rest between exercises and 30 seconds rest between circuits
Bicycle Maneuver -  for 20 reps
Hanging Knee Raises -  for 15 reps
Crunches on Exercise Ball -  for 12 reps
Reverse Crunches -  for 8 reps
It's important that each exercise be performed with strict form and proper technique.  Each repetition should be performed in a controlled manner by taking 2-3 seconds to contract the abs and 3-4 seconds to extend the abs.
This routine will thoroughly fatigue the abdominal muscles to stimulate growth while also helping to burn body fat.  Add this killer routine to your arsenal of abdominal training techniques.

Six Pack Abs For Women - 3 SECRETS!

So ladies, you want a 6 pack.
Well believe it or not, it might not be as difficult as you would think. It all boils down to HOW MUCH you want it.
Look, let's get straight to the point here. I want to give you 3 SECRETS about how and how not to achieve that elusive six pack.
Secret 1: You will NEVER achieve a 6 pack by relying on the latest weight loss pill or the latest trendy diet. They just don't work! And you've probably already tried!
Secret 2: You DON'T need to do hundreds of 'crunches' every day or use the latest 'Super Abs Machine' being advertised on the shopping channels
Secret 3: You ALREADY HAVE a six pack!! Yes, it's true, you already possess a six pack, it's just that it's not visible because of the body fat hiding it!
If you are a woman and want to gain an impressive six pack, your main goal needs to be losing the belly fat which is hiding the abdominals from being seen.
Six Pack Abs For Women

And here's another thing, you can't target one particular area of your body for weight loss, it just won't work. You need to lose weight in a controlled manner from all over your body and as this starts to show results then obviously there are certain key exercises which will help accentuate the abs which you are just starting to uncover from below that flabby tummy!
Now achieving this weight loss is a very attainable goal but like anything worthwhile in life, you'll have to put in a bit of effort. Unless you are determined and have a bit of discipline and 'stickability' for the task at hand, you will always just be dreaming of that flat toned stomach which all women want.
But if you are serious about achieving this then you should be really glad that you're reading this article right now.  I have done all the time-consuming research for you and found 2 quite brilliant programs, one focusing on six pack abs in particular and the other on general weight loss which will obviously make your existing abs visible! Both can be accessed through the links at the bottom of this article.
It's good to hear what some others think of programs which I also like and recommend because why should you take my advice when you don't even know me. So here's what Jennifer Nicole Lee, author of The Fitness Model Program(TM) says about the author of the six pack program I've researched for you...
"Vince DelMonte is not only a living transformation specialist for whether you're skinny or chubby (male or female), but a highly regarded fitness expert in his field who I look up to... he will give you the results that you want and deserve, using all techniques necessary to build solid muscle and to get a sleek and sexy six pack"
Both programs which I've uncovered for you contain so much good stuff, there's no point in me even starting to go into details here. You'd be far better just clicking the links below to at least have a look and gain some more free advice in the process.
So, please don't waste your money on any more or ab machines. If you REALLY WANT that sexy six pack, go check out my site where you can get lots of free advice and great tips both on the site itself and also through my 6 part mini-course. You've got nothing to lose! (except hopefully some weight !)

4 Tips For Sexy Summer Abs

Everyone wants a sexy six pack in time for summer. These four tips will get you on track to be ready for the beach to show off your very own set of fab abs.
The number one thing you must do if they want to have a sexy six pack is to eat a clean diet. In a nutshell that means to eat small healthy meals 5-7 times daily. Your diet should consist of lean protein sources such as chicken, turkey and fish, healthy carbohydrates such as oatmeal, sweet potatoes, brown rice and vegetables, healthy fats such as almonds, olive oil and natural peanut butter. Eliminate soda, candy, cookies and other high sugar foods from your diet. These should only be eaten on occasion and in moderation. Also eliminate fast foods, fatty, greasy foods and alcohol (if you do choose to consume alcohol it should be minimal, these empty calories will easily sabotage your fitness goals) from your diet in order to drop fat weight so you can reveal your abs.
Sexy Summer Abs

Secondly you must get a good combination of cardiovascular exercise in addition to strength training. Working with weights allows you to build and maintain muscle which will give your body the shape that you want as well as increase your metabolism. Cardio and aerobic workouts will help you burn off body fat so that you can see the shapely muscles hidden underneath.
Tip number three is to stay consistent. Your body will not change overnight. There is no pill that you can take that will give you phenomenal abdominals. It takes eating right and exercising right on a consistent basis to get the results that you want. To maintain your weight loss you need to develop healthy eating and exercise habits which you can commit to for life. Results of any fad diet that you try will not last a lifetime. The only way to get the body you want and to keep it is through proper nutrition and exercise. Be patient and set mini weight loss goals for yourself every week. The more consistent you are with making healthy eating choices and training on a regular basis with intensity, the faster you will see results.
The fourth key to revealing your sexy summer six pack is to identify you underlying motivation.
Changing eating and exercise habits can be difficult if you don't stay motivated. It's easy to lapse back into old unhealthy habits which will ruin your chances of getting the beach ready body that you are looking for. If being able to visually see your abs were easy to achieve then everyone would be showing off their midsection. If it is something you want for yourself then you can have it, but it is hard work! In order to stay on track during those tough times keep visual reminders of your motivation where you can see them on a daily basis. For example if you want to look great in your swimsuit then put it on a hangar and have it out where you can see it every single day to remind you why you need to make the right choices!
Remember this. Everybody has abs, it's just that most people have layers of fat covering them up. You can do all the crunches and sit ups in the world and you will never see your abdominals if you don't eat properly and do enough cardio to burn off the fat that is hiding your sexy six pack. If you have been consistently exercising and have not seen the results you want the problem lies within your eating habits. 80% of the way that your body looks is dependent on how you fuel it. Follow these four important tips and you will shed your winter weight and be ready to flaunt your fab abs this summer.

How Do I Get Six Pack Abs? 3 Mistakes You Should Avoid

You've been asking for awhile, how do I get six pack abs? But have read so much information you have started confusing yourself. Then let me clarify some things and make sure you don't make the same mistakes a majority of people trip over when they want to tone and tighten their midsection. If you're serious about flattening your stomach, then avoid these three traps.
Get Six Pack Abs
1. Fat burning pills only work until your body becomes used to them and they are dangerous. Anytime you use something to synthetically increase your heart rate and your metabolism, you're asking for trouble. These so called fat burning pills work for awhile, but the minute you stop taking them the weight melts back onto your stomach. When you use a chemical to enhance your body, your pushing it past it's natural ability. Why would you want to take something that is unapproved by the FDA and keeps your heart racing? No one really knows the lingering affects anyways, so stick with natural weight loss.
2. Long bouts of cardiovascular exercise help eliminate belly fat, But once again your body will become used to the endurance level limiting the amount of fat you can lose. And science has proved when you replace fatty tissue with lean muscle mass the body burns fat faster. Stick with weight lifting routines and circuit training.
3. Read the labels on the foods you prepare. Many times the healthy foods we eat are actually disguised junk. Look for high sodium content and high fructose corn syrup. They can make you pack on pound ultra fast. Anything that ends with the three letters ose is sugar in some shape or form.
Avoiding these three mistakes will help you burn fat faster and preserve your health for your journey through life. Flattening your stomach and shrinking your waistline is possible, but you should always choose the natural methods for weight reduction.

The Top 5 Most Effective Abdominal Exercises

If you had to pick one part of your body that you would change, what would it be? For many of us the answer is our stomachs. We all want to have ripped abs to complement our Greek god-like physique, but oftentimes the workouts we do are ineffective and merely slow the growth of our belly fat at best. Sound familiar.
The truth is that many people are strongly motivated to lose weight, bulk up, and have a physically fit body, but the reason why they don't is because the exercises that they are doing are not good enough. Luckily, there are abdominal exercises which are proven to be extremely effective in developing core muscle strength, and most of them do not require any sort of equipment at all.
Abdominal Exercises

1) Hanging Leg-Raises: A strenuous exercise, the hanging leg raise is a product of true gymnasts. All you need is a chin-up bar or equivalent setup. Grab the bar with an overhand grip about shoulder width apart, and while bending your knees raise your hips and curl your back as you bring your thighs to your chest. Lower slowly, and repeat.
2) Fat-Bar Holds: Again with a chin-up bar or equivalent, hold onto the bar with an overhand grip and hang with your arms and body completely straight. Hang for as long as possible until you can't hold on any longer, then rest for a minute and repeat. Remember you want to improve your strength, so aim to hang for a longer amount of time during each rep.
3) Overhead Reverse Lunge: All you need for this exercise is a light barbell or long wooden pole or equivalent. Hold the bar high above your head with arms straight, and step backward with one leg and slowly lower your body until your knee is bent at a right angle. Do multiple sets of 15-20 reps with rests in between.
4) Leg Raises: While lying on your back extend your legs and raise them off the floor to the highest degree while keeps your knees only slightly bent. Slowly bring your legs back down towards the ground, at about 6 inches from the ground, curl your legs towards your chest. Repeat 15-20 times.
5) Planks: While in push-up position, bring your arms in close to your chest, elbows tucked in and fists up near your face. Raise your body up off the ground and maintain a straight "plank-like" posture for 60 seconds. Only your toes and forearms should be touching the ground. After each rep, switch positions. Flip over and have your back towards the ground and chest pointing skyward, again only your feet and forearms should be touching. Keep your back straight and hold position for 60 seconds.
These 5 simple exercises can be done in your house or outside which makes them convenient. Also, remember that these abdominal exercises must be executed with proper form. Don't push yourself to do more reps or an extra set of an exercise if you feel like your are unable to do it properly; you'll just end up hurting your body more than helping it.

Great Abdominal Exercises For Women

A known university bio mechanics laboratory conducted a study. They have confirmed that the most completing Ab Workouts for Women is easier than first imagined. There were exercises evaluated and assessed determining thirteen types of different workouts starting with a well-known abdominal crunch. These ended with complex exercises involving the use of gym equipment at home.
By working on the lower abs, you will find that this is the best workout for flattening a stomach. Vertical knee raises would be the required equipment at the gym for this exercise. An Swiss ball or pillow could also be used at home.
When using the abdominal exercise machine, you should stand with your back to the pad and place your arms on the armrests. Hold the handles in a tight grip. Lift your knees slowly towards your elbows and hold them there for a short while. Complete this slowly and repeat twenty times. Doing it slowly is the key to success. It was reported that Bruce Lee thought of this as his power exercise, therefore men can also do this.
Michelle Lewin
Do not overdo this exercise as only later in the day will pain be experienced from completing the workout. By slowly introducing this into the training regime, your abs will soon enough start to tone and tighten.
These can also be completed at home if your gym is inaccessible. This can be completed with ab slings or with a vertical knee raise station. Using ab slings, elbows should be placed into ab slings after the person has hooked up onto a chin up bar. The hands will go on the straps and the knee raises can begin. The vertical knee raise station provides much more support for the back than the ab slings.
One can also use an Swiss ball or a cushion or pillow to flatten the tummy. Your gluteus maximus goes onto the ball or cushion, both feet placed on the floor about one foot apart in distance, now lean back onto the cushion or ball. By raising the torso slightly there will be a crunch completed.
Simple leg lift is the next exercise that can be completed anywhere. You need to lay down flat on the floor and then raise your legs up in the air. Try keeping your legs up for as long as possible and then resting them. You can repeat this exercise. There are several different ab exercises for women. It is never too late to attain a new leaner, more healthy body and more confidence.

2 Secrets You Must Be Doing in a Female Abs Workout

If you have been dieting for a while(a few years) and still are not getting the desired results you would like when it comes to losing weight the healthy way, then my friend, I hope this article helps you on your journey.
First of all let's talk about how much weight you would ideally like to loose? You must understand that if you are really serious about losing weight then you have to change the way you think. Yes, it all comes down to your thinking pattern!
Everyone knows that the older you get the slower your metabolism works. This is true but you can train your metabolism to speed up and work for you, burning carbs all through the night. That is what you want. Everyone seems to focus on the one hour workout and tends to forget the 23hours left in the day.
One way to help increase your metabolism is, to snack more during the day. Yep, roughly every two hours you want to have a snack. Doing this as well as taking in more water will help speed things up.
Female Abs Workout

This will feel like you are eating a lot more at the start but trust me, once you get things into a habit it just becomes natural, and you feel like you have continuous energy through out the day.
More on that later.
Now exercises......everyone seems to hate working out???
I really don't understand why you would not want to! The benefits are endless.
"But, you already know this don't you". The trick to working out is going through the threshold of your initial first weeks training. After that everything will flow for you. When working your abs, you can't just lie there and do ab crunches.. This will not help you lose weight around the mid-section.
Firstly:
Intensity is the key to any workout. For years I would go to the gym and workout for 40-50mins feeling like I had a good session. But it wasn't until I discovered, if you just push yourself for the full 40mins you will see the benefits so, so much faster!
If you are just beginning, walking, running, cycle, whatever it is you are doing, put some intensity into it. You should be sweating a lot!
Secondly:
Eating!
"Yep", you need to start watching what you eat; you soon learn that what ever you put into your body you have to work it off, and after a while of doing this you'll learn to feel your body a lot more, you can actually feel the fatty foods affecting your energy levels.
This is only the start, would you like to know more?
"Hold on to your pants because your life is about to change".

Great Abdominal Exercises - 5 Great Abdominal Exercises

Here's what really gets to me, people think "great abdominal exercises" and then pops up "sit ups" or "crunches." The problem with this is that when people train their abdominals they don't get the results they want simply because they aren't doing the proper abdominal exercises. In this article I'm going to list a few great abdominal exercises.
5 Great Abdominal Exercises
 5 Great Abdominal Exercises

1. Weighted Incline crunches
This is a good way to bulk up and tone your abdominal muscles. Get on an incline bench and take 5 pound dumbbell on each hand and place them against your chest as you go down, this is great at increasing resistance as you contract your abdominal muscles.
2. Incline Side Lifts
Oblique-intense workout, stand in a diagonal position, take a 20 pound weight and do side lifts with the weight on your hanging arm, this is great for really focusing your obliques, the weight adds resistance giving you a lot more benefits, you'll develop your obliques a lot sooner.
3. Leg Lifts
If you're really into getting your lower abdominals very defined, leg lifts should be a regular workout in your routine. Lay on your back and simply lift your legs straight up, at the height of the lift, force your hip to elevate off the ground; this highly contracts your lower abs.
4. Chair Crunches
Lay on your back, put your legs on a chair, and do crunches this way. This is one of the better workouts for your upper abs. For more benefits, do these with 5 pound dumbbells.
5. Abdominal Stretches
Lay down face first on your forearms and move in a circular motion very slowly. This focuses your entire abdominal area and tones it all out, so all of your abdominal muscles are proportionately developed.
These are great abdominal exercises you can either do at home or at any old gym. For great abs only exercise your abs 2-3 times every week, your abs don't benefit with more exercises.

Top 10 Tip's to Build Ripped Abdominals Fast!

The rectus abdominals (abs) is the muscle known as "the 6 pack". When training the abs it is important not to just perform trunk flexion exercises (sit-ups). The rectus abdominals are just one muscle of a whole group of muscles which is commonly referred to as the "Abs".
The other muscles are: external oblique's, internal oblique's and the transverses abdominus.
All movement from the extremities rely on the core for stabilization and force production, it's the most important area of the body. As the old saying goes "you can't fire a canon from a canoe".
The core is the link between your upper and lower body and needs special attention, gone are the days when core training meant performing hundreds of sit-ups off the floor, there are much more effective ways to train.
Below are some general guidelines attaining to what a proper core program should look like, apply these strategies to your routine and you will have a shredded 6 pack in no time.
Exercises For Six Pack Abs

1. Interval Training.
This is short bouts of high intense exercise broken up with periods of low intense exercise. For example sprint for 1 min then rest for 2 min, as you become fitter increase the reps or decrease the rest period. This will ramp up the metabolic rate whilst burning heaps of calories. Everyone has a six pack, it's just that it's usually hidden under fat.
2. Wood Chopping Exercises.
The rectus abdominals (6 pack) are designed more for anti-rotators of the trunk rather than trunk flexion (sit up's). Otherwise the ab's would look more like hamstrings. Standing sideways to a cable machine, attach a rope to the high pulley. Pull the rope down and across your body, to just outside your left knee. Return the cable to the starting position, finish your reps and then switch sides.
3. Weight Training.
By increasing your lean muscle mass you'll burn more calories sitting behind your desk and whilst you're asleep, you will also burn a considerable more amount of energy whilst you're exercising through greater energy demand from the increased lean muscle. Do large compound exercises working multiple muscles working every major muscle group in the body.
4. Fit-Ball.
By using a fit ball you'll be increasing the range of motion from a neutral spine to trunk flexion (sit-ups), to trunk extension to trunk flexion. By doing sit-ups on an unstable surface you'll also increase the amount of muscle fiber recruitment.
5. Diet.
If your diet is poor, no amount of training will work. Eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, nut's, seeds, wholegrains, beans, legumes. If your eating meat and dairy make sure it's lean and low in saturated fat. Keep sugar's and alcohol to a minimum.
6. Train all Movements.
Don't just do sit-ups, train all movement patterns. A good core program should include trunk flexion and extension, rotation, side flexion, reverse crunches and static holds. It's not necessary to do them all in one session, pick one or two for each training session.
7. Less is More.
One of the most common mistakes people make is they do too many reps. The abs are just like any other muscle, so train them like you would other muscles. Doing hundreds of reps isn't going to do much except give you posture problems. Add more external resistance and keep the reps under twenty.
8. Stretch.
Like any other muscle the Abs need stretching. Lay face down with your hands under your shoulders, push up until your arms are nearly straight whilst simultaneously pushing your hips into the floor. This will increase the range of motion of the muscle and increase blood flow, therefore speeding up recovery between sessions.
9. Static Holds.
To develop a strong core you must incorporate exercises that incorporate the whole mid-section, including the hips. Stuart McGill (leading researcher on lower back dis-function) believes strength endurance is the most important factor in maintaining a healthy lower back. The plank is a good place to start, hold yourself in the press-up position, keeping your abs braced (tightened) and your butt squeezed tight. Start with a 20 second hold and increase this time by 10% a week.
10. Train the body as one integrated unit.
Use lifting exercises that will actively challenge the core. Some of the best core exercises around are ones that are working other muscle groups. By using exercises such as squat and deadlift variations, overhead presses, bent over rows and even push ups you'll be creating awesome core strength.

How to Get Ripped Fast - Top Ten Ab Workouts

The most coveted part of the body for men and women is a great and firm set of abs or abdominals. Having well-defined and visible abs makes one look stronger and in great shape. However, having great abs is not just about good looks. If one wants to just have firmer abs, a good exercise and a good diet is one good discipline. But if a person is more athletic and aims to have better looking abs, one must incorporate and use the most effective ab workouts and core-strengthening exercises. If you want to know how to get ripped fast, follow these simple workouts.
Top Ten Best Ab Workouts:
Sit-ups - Considered as the most effective ab workouts a person can do. It is considered as the push ups of abdominal exercise. Some people with great abs use sit ups to create firmer and better abs. However, sit-ups have been removed in most of the modern routines by the claim that it causes lower back pain if not properly performed. But still, despite the phase out sit-ups are still performed by some old-school fitness persons because they say that it has been tried and effective.
Exercises For Six Pack Abs

Crunches - This traditional ab workout has likewise been in practice for decades but still very effective. Crunches can be used in a well-rounded and complete routine work-out and be considered as the only ab workout exercise needed. This exercise needs to be done in proper form and correctly in order to get the most of it. If a person can do 30 crunches or more without getting tired, he might be doing it improperly or may need more resistance in order to achieve the correct routine. When doing the crunches, contractions must be controlled and must be kept low. Adding some weights to the chest can be also done in order to burn more energy.
Reverse Crunches - These ab workouts are the opposite of crunches. Instead of lifting the shoulders, the lower abdominals are used to lift the hips raising the legs with knees bent slightly.
Bicycle Crunches - The bicycle crunches are another ab workout that have been proven effective even in studies. The person lies on the ground just like in the crunch position, the legs should be raised with the knees bent and the legs should move in a peddling motion. The left elbow should touch the right knee as it is bent towards the person and vice versa. These ab workouts should also be done smoothly and should be in controlled motion.
Leg/Knee Raises - These ab workouts are also called captain's chair. This is done by hanging the leg or knee depending on how a person does this by holding himself up using a pull-up bar or leg-raise equipment. Studies showed that this is one of the most effective ab workouts in stimulating the muscle called rectus abdominus. The leg/knee exercise has two ways to perform: with legs straight or legs bent. This is more challenging when the legs are kept straight but still it is advised that the routine with the knees bent should also be done because it stimulates the abdominal muscles in a different way.
Wood Chop - This is done by grabbing the handle of the pulley using both hands then twisting the body as if chopping wood. The motion by twisting targets the abdominal muscle called oblique.
Russian Twist- This can be done on the floor or the bench that is in a declining position. The person should tilt back making a 45 degree angle to the ground or bench. Hold the arms straight out forming a triangle then the shoulder starts by twisting from side to side.
Front Plank - This exercise is very commonly used in dance and yoga classes. This is very effective in core strengthening. To do this, the forearms are placed on the ground in a parallel position to each other and then hold the body up. The back is should be kept straight then contracting the abdominal muscles. This is done by holding for 30 seconds to a minute.
Leg and Hip Raises -These ab workouts are done by lying down flat on the back with legs in front. The legs are then lifted forming a right angle without bending the knees. Once the legs are in a vertical position to the hips, push the hips up from the ground. This is very effective in working out the oblique muscles and lower abdominals.
Ab Workouts on a Stability Ball - Stability balls or Swiss balls make ab workouts more challenging and very effective. The above mentioned ab workouts can actually be done in a stability ball. This can be done by balancing the ball into any possible position using the core muscles in balancing the person on the ball.

5 Best Abdominal Exercises

People look for the best abdominal exercises because the core region of the body is the most sought after physical improvement by fitness enthusiasts. Having a six pack gives the impression of being really fit. There are dozens (actually hundreds) of programs and machines that claim to work. Would regular exercise work? I would argue that it does.
There are a number of really good exercises to get rock hard abs. Basic equipment found in any gym can be used like stability balls, BOSU, and a high pulley on a machine. We recommend these 5 best abdominal exercises to help you get great results.
Best Ab Exercise #1 - Plank
Stability and core strength are crucial for other moves you will do in the gym like deadlifts. Different types of planks will work a large portion of your core muscles including you abdominals. The best part is that they only take a few minutes as they can be very challenging. A basic plank is done with your body held straight with your weight balanced on your toes and forearms. You hold this position to failure, rest for 30 - 60 seconds and repeat. Do 3-4 sets.

Best Ab Exercise #2 - Core Exercises
Core exercises (also called stability exercises) help to develop the abdominals but also the obliques and other minor muscles to stabilize the spine. The best exercises to use are body weight movements through a full range of motion. These exercises include reverse crunches on the floor or incline bench, knee or leg raises using a captain chair or hanging from a chinup bar, the bridge, and ab wheel rollouts.
Best Ab Exercise #3 - Windshield Wipers
Of these best abdominal exercises, I find this one the most challenging. Doing ab work while hanging from a chinup bar can be difficult on your grip so use an aid like wrist straps if needed. While hanging, bring your feet up as high as you are able to and then rotate your lower body from side to side - your legs will look like windshield wipers. Rotate as far as is comfortable based on your flexibility.
Best Ab Exercise #4 - Hanging Straight Leg Raise
As a more advanced move, try this best abdominal exercise! As done with windshield wipers, hang from a chinup bar with your legs straight. Lift your legs up so your feet end up over your head near the bar. This will curl your hips towards your head and activate your lower abs - the least worked abdominal muscles you have.
Best Ab Exercise #5 - Cable Crunch
As much as I like body weight exercises, I am a firm believer that building larger muscles requires heavy weight. The best abdominal exercise to develop your six pack with weights is to use a cable pulley system. There are two versions I have personally used. Kneel in front of the system with a rope on the cable held on either side of your head. Do a crunch motion bringing your elbows down to your knees and return to the start under control. Put enough weight on the system so you can just finish 3 sets of 10 reps.
The second one is quite different. Attach legs straps to your ankles and attach them to the cable. Lay on your back on the floor and put tension on the cable with your legs straight. Bring your knees to your chest and slowly return to the start keeping tension on the cable at all times. Do as many as you can for 3 sets.
There are other best abdominal exercises but there are also compound movements that will help your core development as well. Don't forget to use deadlifts, kettlebell swings, and heavy squats. For body weight exercises, any time you are hanging your lower body, you tense your core muscles to stabilize yourself so you don't swing. That makes for a great workout! For a good finish to your workout, do 3 to 5 sets of 12 to 15 reps using an ab wheel to do roll outs. Chances are, you will feel it a lot the next day. Have fun!

How to Find the Right Abdominal Workout Program

There are various programs that offers different kinds of abdominal exercises. However finding the right program can be a very challenging task since all the programs claims that they are ‘the best ab workout program’.

What you should understand is that no one type of exercise will continue to produce results for an extended period of time. For example if you are working your core using an unstable ball you will notice after a period of time that you’re not seeing any improvement in your body. The simple reason for this is that your body adapts to your exercise conditions and will not budge until you change your exercise routine.

The Right Abdominal Workout Program..

Your ab workouts should progress from your body being on an unstable surface so that all the core muscles can feel the full effect. Your core muscle are the main muscle to focus on when doing any exercise that targets your abdominal. This will allow the abdominal muscles to contract and relax to get the six pack abs you desire.

Stretching Is Very Important in your ab workouts..

You should also get a full stretch during the eccentric phase of your ab exercises. You don’t need to come all the way up but you must ensure that you crunch in your upper abs into your lower abs in each repetition to get the full burn and development.

Working The Lower Abs..

To laser target the lower abs section, a good exercise would be to lay on your back and perform leg raises. Another would be to also lay on your back but instead of doing raises you would keep your feet at about 45 degrees from the floor and hold it there.

Incorporating a specific ab workout is only a small part of the battle - diet, lifestyle and overall caloric expenditure through weight training and cardio are the true building blocks to creating a sexy and desired mid section.

Now you can learn step by step from fitness expert Vince Delomonte how to get a six pack abs. Vince is a fitness champion and author of two of the internet’s top selling fitness programs: No Nonsense Building and Your Six Pack Quest.

Top 5 Ab Exercises To Tone Your Tummy

Doing the right exercises is vital if you want to tone your tummy. Keep in mind that getting a trimmer tummy takes time and you have to put into practice an effective exercise regime and eat a healthy and balanced diet.
Ab Exercises
1. Crunch
 5 Abs Exercises
Crunches isolate and tone your tummy muscles but remember that they will not help to burn the unwanted fat that rests on top of your those muscles. To burn off excess fat, you'll need to do some cardio workouts and resistance training where you are working out with weights.
Lie flat on your back with your feet resting on the floor with your knees bent. Place your hands to the side of your head and lift your shoulders slowly off the floor about four inches while keeping your lower back straight and hold this position for one second. Lower your shoulders back down to the floor and repeat for as many reps as you can manage.
2. Dumbbell Renegade Row
abs workouts
The dumbbell renegade rows builds strength in your back muscles, biceps, and triceps. It is performed like a regular press up, but instead of your hands being flat on the floor you hold onto the dumbbell bars. You then lift one dumbbell up to chest height by flexing elbow and pulling with your back muscles. You then repeat on the other side. You'll need to keep your core tight during this exercise to maintain balance which makes it a good exercise to tone your tummy.
3. Russian Twist
abs workouts
This is a great exercise to tone your tummy muscles at the side of your midsection. Grab a single dumbbell and sit on the floor and lift your feet off the ground with your knees bent. Twist your torso and move your arms to one side as though you were about to place the dumbbell down beside you but stop just before it touches the ground. Then twist your torso and do the same on the other side. Do as many reps as you can manage.
4. Dumbbell Wood Chop
abs workouts
The dumbbell wood chop copies chopping wood with an axe. The movement consists of swinging a dumbbell with both hands in a diagonal line from the side of your hip to above shoulder level. This will help tone your tummy due to the fact that your stomach muscles provide support to the core area while your hips, shoulders, and oblique muscles act as stabilizers.
5. Plank
abs workouts
The plank tests your stamina while developing strength in your shoulders, back, glutes, and abdominals. This exercise will help you to tone your tummy since it primarily works the rectus and transverse abdominis muscles. To do a plank, lie on the floor face down. Then lift your body off the floor by resting on your forearms with your upper arms directly under your shoulders. Keep your feet together and balance on your toes to support the weight of your body. Make sure you keep your back flat like a plank. Hold this position for as long as you can while keeping your abs tight the whole time.
